The Petaluma Educational Foundation does not receive state funding. We partner with community members, businesses, and local organizations to support the dreams of 12,000+ Transitional Kindergarteners - 12th grade students attending our 35 public, private and charter schools. When donors provide financial support to PEF's Impact Grant Program, they are truly Funding the Future as generations of Petaluma students benefit from their generosity. PEF funds innovative and engaging curriculum-based programs with grants of up to $15,000 each across all academic focus areas. This year we awarded the highest amount ever, $244,816. This program has provided cameras and technology tools for student broadcast programs, STEAM materials for hands-on collaborative lessons, upgraded libraries with classic titles and books where children can see themselves in the story, to physical education and social-emotional learning tools to develop a strong foundation from which every child can grow and develop skills to become contributing members of society. When you give to PEF, you are giving the gift of education to generations of local students.

Our Alphabet Soup Stores are open seven days a week thanks to over 60 volunteers who assist staff in processing donations, stocking the sales floor, and working the cash registers. We would welcome help filling open shifts to keep the stores fully "staffed" and serve our community. We greatly appreciate all those willing to share their gift of time, talent, and passion with our organization. For more information about volunteering at Alphabet Soup Stores, please contact Maria Manadolini (Store Manager) at 707-778-4818 or maria@pefinfo.com.
PEF also welcomes volunteers to assist with our annual fundraising gala planning. The BASH takes place every September. Volunteers can assist with months of pre-planning, event week set-up, and post-event take-down. For more information on how to help, please contact Maureen Highland at 707-778-4632 or maureen@pefinfo.com.
